About us
Raising the standard of audiovisual production across the UK.
journalexi is an informative resource dedicated to audiovisual production excellence. We cover broadcast studio design, camera control systems, professional lighting arrangements, sound engineering and streamlined workflows for television networks and live events.

Our story
We started as a small group of studio engineers who kept answering the same questions from colleagues: where should the cameras go, how bright should the key light be, and how do we keep a live show running smoothly?
Today we turn that experience into focused courses, consultancy and planning resources for broadcasters, production companies and venue teams throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Our goal is simple: help every crew produce confident, well-lit, well-sounding programmes with workflows that stay calm under pressure.
What we stand for
Practical first
Every lesson is tested on real studio floors and galleries, never on slides alone.
Reliability on air
We teach redundancy, checklists and calm decision making for productions that cannot fail.
Craft and detail
Clean light, balanced sound and steady pictures come from small, repeatable habits.
Shared knowledge
Our specialists work openly with crews so skills stay inside your team long after training.
